Santa Aha City Hall. January 2nd, 1934~ V:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: T~ustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.E. Pemu, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. Minutes of meeting of December 18th, 1933, Sas approved. In Re Communication American Legion. In Re Policy--Title Insce. Property on Olive St. In Re Applications Taxicab Drivers. In Re Demand of Rogers McCarthy. In Re Monthly Reports. In Re warrants. In Re Application C.W. Whitley. On motion of carried, the Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and communication of the Santa Ana Post #131, The American Legion thanking the Council for the co-opera- tion given them in holding a Christmas Tree party for the children of Santa Ana,~)ecember 2Ath, 1933, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the policy of title insurance issued by the Abstract and Title Insurance Company on property from J. W~. Sackman, etux, located on Olive Street Sixth and Eighth Streets, was accepted and the Clerk was instructed to file same. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the applications of Ohas. Keene and Eugene L. Wood for pex~nits to drive taxicabs, were referred to the Taxicab Co,w~t ~ sion. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the demand of Rogers McCarthy against the City of Santa Aha for the sum of $1350.00 for personal injuries, medi- cal bill and loss of time for damages suffered by claiman' on. December 21st, 1933, was referred to the City Attorney, . On. motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGeye and carried the monthly reports of city officers for the month of December, were referred to the Finance committee. On-motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to demands audited by the Finance Committee. . On, motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of C. W. Whitley of the Bible Standard Lighthouse of the Free Methodists, to preach the gospel in the business district, was denied.
