Whitley. <br /> <br />On motion of <br />carried, the <br /> <br />Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />communication of the Santa Ana Post #131, <br /> <br />The American Legion thanking the Council for the co-opera- <br />tion given them in holding a Christmas Tree party for the <br />children of Santa Ana,~)ecember 2Ath, 1933, was received <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the policy of title insurance issued by the <br />Abstract and Title Insurance Company on property <br />from J. W~. Sackman, etux, located on Olive Street <br />Sixth and Eighth Streets, was accepted and the Clerk was <br />instructed to file same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> <br />carried, the applications of Ohas. Keene and Eugene L. <br />Wood for pex~nits to drive taxicabs, were referred to the <br /> <br />Taxicab Co,w~t ~ sion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br />the demand of Rogers McCarthy against the City of Santa <br />Aha for the sum of $1350.00 for personal injuries, medi- <br />cal bill and loss of time for damages suffered by claiman' <br />on. December 21st, 1933, was referred to the City Attorney, <br />. <br /> <br />On. motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGeye and carried <br /> <br />the monthly reports of city officers for the month of <br />December, were referred to the Finance committee. <br /> <br />On-motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to <br />demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On, motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the application of C. W. Whitley of the Bible <br />Standard Lighthouse of the Free Methodists, to preach the <br />gospel in the business district, was denied. <br /> <br /> <br />
