Fourth Street, was granted under super- <br />vision of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and Carried <br />the application of Robert Williams for a permit to drive <br />a taxicab for the Broadway Cab, was referred to the Taxi- <br />Commission for investigation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the expense statement of the Byron Jackson Company <br />in amount of $?70.16, incu_wred in the replacement of the <br />first bowl assembly furnished to the City on their pump <br />contract, was referred to the City ~gineer, Attorney and <br />Water Commissioner to report back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the cc~unication from the Federal Civil Works <br />Administration relative to having street traffic sUrveys <br />made as Civil Works Administration projects, was referred <br />to the City Engineer and Chief of Police. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee NasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the City Council consented to the assignment of <br />the agreement of C. E. Price on the purchase of garbage <br />and leasing of the Hog Ranch, to the Orange County Pro- <br />duction Credit Association for a Federal Loan. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the PUrchasing Agent was authorized *~ pUrchase <br />tl~ree radio sets at a c~at of $79.50 each, installed, to <br />equip police cars. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Penn and carr~ <br />the Souther~ California Telephone Company was requested <br />to re-locate telephone poles to the south side of the <br />Cityts right-of-way on West Seventeenth Street between <br />Flower Street and the West City Limits, for the reason <br />that the pole line is now located too close to the edge <br />of the paved highway and constitutes a menace to traffic. <br /> <br /> <br />
