In Re <br /> <br />Resignation <br /> <br />Harry Kessler. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Gilmore Oil Company. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Warrants. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Nazarene Church. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />~equest of <br /> <br />Associated Unemployed Unit #2. <br /> <br /> reference to their statement covering expenses incurred <br /> in the replacing of the first bowl assembly ~urnished the <br /> City on the contract dated February 20, 19~, was refer- <br /> red to the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion' of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the resignation of Harry Kessler as a special <br /> police officer without pay, was accepted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> ried, the application of the Gilmore 0il Company for a <br /> permit to erect a steel service station at the northeast <br /> corner of First and Cypress Streets, was referred to the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> ~ motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br /> carried, the property at the northeast corner of First <br /> and Cypress Streets was ordered posted fc~ special uses <br /> and the hearing date set March 12th, providing the exist- <br /> ing setback line is observed and special permission is <br /> obtained as to driveway widths and removal of street <br /> trees, as recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the application of Gilbert-Weston-Stearns, Inc., <br /> to rehang an electric sign for Dr. Murane at 110 W. <br /> Street, was granted under supervision of the Electrical <br /> Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the monthly reports of the city officers for the <br />month of February, were referred to the Finance Committee, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to <br /> the demands audited by the Finance Comtttee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGaye, secc~ded by Warner and car- <br />r%ed, the application of John C. 8wafford of the Nazarene <br />Church at Fifth and Patton Streets for permission to hold <br />church services Thursday nights on W. Fifth Street at <br />Main Street, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner <br />carried, the request of the Associated Unemployed Unit <br />#2 petitioning the City of Santa Ara to donate water for <br />use in their gardens, was referred to Trustee LeGaye. <br /> <br /> <br />
