No. 2383 <br /> <br />Funds for City Hall. <br /> <br />December 31st, 1933, was accepted and the Clerk instructe( <br />to deposit the warrant. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the deed from the Townsend Land Company, a corp- <br />oration, for right-of-way at the Joint Outfall Sewer, was <br />mccepted and the Clerk instructed to have deed recorded. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an <br />easement with the Pacific Electric Railway Company, <br />Pacific Land Company and the Southern Pacific Railroad <br />Company, covering right-of-way at the Joint Outfall Sewer. <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an easement <br />with the Pacific Electric Railway Company, a OAlifornia <br />Corporation, covering right-of-way at the Joint Outfall <br /> <br />Sewer. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the Chief of Police and City Clerk were instructed to <br />advise all special police officers appointed by the City <br />Council, that unless surety bonds in amount of $1000.00 <br /> <br />are filed with the City, <br />automatically cancelled. <br /> <br />A petition signed by Charles <br /> <br />their appointments will be <br /> <br />Clark as agent for Charles <br /> <br /> was filed, <br />Hall, Tony's Cafe, Palace Cafe and others~requesting the <br /> <br />Council to reconsider the Ordinance prohibiting the sale <br />of intoxicating liquor between the hours of 12 midnight <br />and 6:00 A. M. of the same day and urging that an opinion <br />be obtained from the Attorney General as to the validity <br />of the ordinance. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, <br />seconded by Penn and carried, the petition of merchants <br />was referred to the City Attorney for investigation. <br /> <br />A Resolution was introduced resolving that in the event <br />of a contract being entered into by the City of Santa Ama <br />and the United states Federal Government for the erection <br />and construction of a City Hall, the City of Santa Aha <br />has sufficient funds to meet the amount of the contract, <br />said contract not to exceed the sum of $120,000.00. The <br />resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, designa- <br />ted Resolution No. 2383 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
