First Street was <br />ordered posted for Bpecial uses and the hearing date set <br />April 23rd, 1934. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGyae, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the application of Pastor Chas. L. Coleman for per- <br />mission to hold street meetings in front of the Gospel <br />Mission at 314 E. Fourth Street on Saturday nights, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the ~e~ommendation of the Planning Commission <br />was accepted to.tmb~ the application of M. M. Hansen to <br />operate a garage at~2303 S. Main Street, until necessary <br />posting fee is deposited and agreement is made to meet <br />building requirements. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the resignation ~ Her~y W. McKague as a special <br />police officer to take effect at once, was accepted. <br /> <br />A communication from L. D. Coffing Company was read <br />stating that it was necessary to revalue the 1926 Buick <br />touring car at $73.44 owned by the City in connection <br />with the bid submitted on police car. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner to accept <br />the bid of L. D. Coffing Company for a police car as <br />recommended by the Chief of Police, was withdrawn. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, all bids submitted for the purchase of an auto- <br />mobile Eot the Police Department were rejected and the <br />Clerk authorized to return the checks of the unsuccessful <br />bidders. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Penn to accept the recommendation <br /> new 1934 <br />of the Chief of Police and purchase a/Plymouth automobile <br /> <br />from the L. D. Ccffing Company, was lost for lack of a <br />second to the motion. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Warner to purchase the lowest price <br />car according to bids submitted, for the police depart- <br />ment, was lost for lack of a second to the motion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the matter with reference to adopting an.Ordinance <br />regulating or prohibiting dance hall proprietors from <br /> <br /> <br />
