P. Baker was <br />granted under special ~ses on conditio~n that plans submit- <br />ted are complied with. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seQonded by Penn and carried <br />the application of E. S. Stover to conduct a Used Car <br />Market at 210 E. First Street, was referred to the Plan- <br />ning Commission for recommendation; no protests being fil~ <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurr~ <br />with and the application of E. S. Stover was granted <br />under special uses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warne~,seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br />Mayor Paul B. Witmer was was given a leave of absence <br /> <br />from the State for thirty days. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />a committee consisting of Trustees Warner, LeGaye and the <br />Purchasing Agent were appointed ~o purchase an automobile <br />for the Police Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the committee was accepted <br />to purchase the Ford automobile from George Dunton at the <br />price of $724.98 submitted by bid. <br /> <br />A Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "A Resolution ordering the Street Superintendent to <br />abate the public nuisance heretofore declared by the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana to exist in the <br />City of Santa Ana, to-wit: Weeds which bear seeds of a <br />wingy or downy nature and attain such a large growth as <br />to become a fire menace when dry and which are noxious <br />and dangerous, growing upon certain streets, sidewalks <br />and private property in the City of Santa Ana, by having <br />the weeds referred to removed." <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2384 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Trustees A.F.
