Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />April 23rd, 1934. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Deputy Clerk. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, <br /> W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br />In the absence of Ma~or Witmer, on motion of <br />Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and carried, <br />Trustee HazenJaeger was appointed Mayor Pro Tam. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />M. Lay for a permit to conduct <br />a wrecking yard at the southeast corner of Main and Delhi <br />Road, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />and the application of M. Lay to conduct a wrecking yard <br />at the southeast corner of Main and Delhi Road, was denied <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, <br />the application of Joe Haupert for permission to erect a <br />gasoline service station at the northeast corner of First <br />and French Streets, was referred to the Planning <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted and the property at the northeast corner of First <br />and French Streets was ordered posted for special uses and <br />and the hearing date set April 30th, in accordance with <br />the application of Joe Haupert. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the City Attorney was acce <br />and the application of the Golden Eagle Oil Company to <br />have the property rezoned owned by the City and consisting <br />of a seven acre tract near First and Sullivan Streets, for <br />the purpose of drilling for oil, was denied. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />the r'ecommendation of the Planning Commission was acce <br />and the application of O. T. Moore for a permit to enlarge <br />the frame store building located at 1034 W. Highland <br />Street, was denied for the reason that it is in violation <br />to Section I of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, <br />the application of Dr. W. P. Baker for permission to use <br />the house at 201 E. Seventh Street for phys~cian,s office <br /> <br /> <br />
