No. 257V <br /> <br />Ordering Improvement. <br /> <br />Alley Abandonment in <br /> <br />Block B of Bailey's Addn. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Hasen~aeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the petition of residents in the vicinity of the <br />Edison School protesting aEalnst the condition of street <br />intersections at St. Andmewa Place and Orange, Cypress <br />and Maple Street~ was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the City Attorney was instructed te dmaw a con- <br />tract with C. E. Price for the sale of garbage for the <br />period of two years without cost until hog prices raise <br />to six cents per pound, after which the pr.ice of garbage <br />is to be 50~ per ton, with 28~ being added for each cent <br />raise in hog prices. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Pl_-nnlng Commission <br />was accepted and the application of the Santa Ana commu- <br />nity Players Association to erect a meeting hall on prope: <br />ty located at Twentieth and Main Streets, described as <br />Lots 3 and 5, Main Street Tract, was granted under special <br /> <br /> Roll Oall: Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGeye, E.G. Warner, <br /> W.H.Penn, A.O.HasenJaege~, Paul B. Witme~ <br /> <br /> Hoes~ Tl~lstees None. <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, secoD~led by Warner and carried <br /> the City Attorney was instructed to prepare a contract to <br /> be entered into with Har~y L.
