On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by <br />Bruns and carried, the motion to refer all bids to the <br />Finance Committee for one week, was rescinded. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by ROwland and car- <br />ried, the bid of Otto Lenz in the amount of $?00.10 on <br />house and garage located at the northwest cc~ner of Sixth <br />and Olive Streets, was accepted and the Clerk instructed <br />to return checks and money of the unsuccessful bidders. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the commUnication of the Tournament of Lights Committee <br />extending an invitation to attend and act on the ~ommitte~ <br />of Judges of the Tournament of Lights on Newport Bay, Jul$ <br />28th, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the communication of the City of Salinas e~tending an <br />invitation to the California Rodeo and Horse Fair to open <br />July 28th, was received and filed. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and c ar- <br /> <br />tied, the resolution from G.
