Ramsey, husband and <br /> wife, covering Lot Fifteen (15) in Block "B" of Tract No. <br /> 315, Owens Subdivision, as per map thereof recorded in Book <br /> 14, at page 49, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said <br /> Orange County, was accepted and the Clerk instructed to have <br /> deed recorded. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bru~s, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Police Cormnissioner and Purchasing <br /> Agent was accepted and the bid of B. J. MscMullen covering <br /> One 1935 Standard Chevrolet four door Sedan equipped with <br /> front and rear bumpers, spare tire, tube, tire lock, tire <br /> cover and safety glass, in the amount of $743.57, less <br /> $159.00, allowance on the Willys 6 Sedan, making a net figur. <br /> of $584.87, was accepted, and the checks of all the unsuc- <br /> cessful were ordered returned to bidders. <br /> <br /> On recom~nendation of the City Attorney and on motion of <br /> Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the petition <br /> of the photographers in Santa Aha, protesting against the <br /> payment of city license yearly in advance, was received and <br /> f il ed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the Ordinance fixing salaries or compensation of General <br /> Officers of the City of Santa Ana, was tabled for one week. <br /> <br /> The Chair granted the committees mppointed more time to <br /> <br /> investigate the opening of Flower Street between Fifth and <br /> Sixth Streets and changing the name of Cubbon Street to <br /> <br />Beverly Place. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the following Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 2411 <br /> <br /> That the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the A.C. Bowers <br />Trust, is the Owner of Certificate of Deposit of the Mid- <br />State Horticultural Co. as follows, to-wit: <br /> CERTIFICATE NUMBER PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF BONDS <br /> No. lll $12,000 par value, <br /> ~Mid-State Horticultural Co. <br /> 7~ Bonds. <br /> That it is proposed to ex,hangs said Certificate o~ Deposi <br />for First Mortgage Six Per Cent Sinking Fund Bonds, dated <br />July l, 1952, of said Mid-State Horticultural Co.; <br /> That said A. C. Bowers Trust is now held by the Trust <br />Department of The First National Bank of Santa Ana, Califor- <br />nia, and that it is required that the said Trust Department <br />of The First National Bank of Santa Aha be authorized and <br />directed to execute all papers pursuant to said exchange: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Aha <br />hereby authorizes The First National Bank of Santa Aha, <br /> <br /> <br />
