W. Williams, was granted on recommen <br />dation of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the petitions of property owners and residents in favor of <br />and against the changing of the name of Cubbon Street, were <br />referred to the committee previously appointed composed of <br />the City Attorney and Engineer, for checking and report back <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br /> the application of the Industrial Work Shop for the Blind <br /> for permission to solicit and sell products made in their <br /> shops in Los Angeles and Oakland, was denied. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the monthly reports of the city officers for the month of <br /> February, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconde~ by Rowland and carried, <br /> the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br /> monthly demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried <br /> the report of Harry D.
