Transfer Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Signs. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Warrant of <br /> <br />Southern Cal. <br /> <br />Edison Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Dr. Robert S. Wade. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Deed from <br /> <br />Streets, was read and the ED~ineer reported that barricades <br />had been placed at the end of said streets which should pro- <br />hibit further damage to the orange grove owned by Dr. Rufus <br />Davis. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the communication of the Orange County Coast Association <br />with reference to their meeting at San Clememte March 19th, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the communication of the Santa Ana Transfer and Storage Com- <br />pany with reference to working with the Los Angeles City <br />Council to obtain a reciprocating city license agreement for <br />transportation of property in fore-hire service, was referre, <br />to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />applications of MacFarlane Electric to hang electric signs <br />at the following places of business were granted under super~ <br />vision of the Electrical Inspector: <br /> <br /> Walter Lewin 407 N. Main St. <br /> Lewis Outfitting Co. 405 W. 4th St. <br /> Rathbun Motorcycle Co. 419 E. 4th St. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the warrant of the Southern Calif. Edison Company, Ltd., <br />in the amount of $2281.29 covering franchise tax for the <br />year ending December 31, 1934, was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed to deposit same. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Dr. Robert S. Wade for the rezoning of <br />the Northeast corner of Bush and Eighth Streets for the pur- <br />pose of placing thereon a modern building for the business <br />of physician and su~egeon offices, was referred to the Plan- <br />ning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recormnendation of the Planning Commission to deny the <br />application of Dr. Robert S. Wade was read and the applica- <br />tion was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the deed from L. W. Owens, a single man, covering the follow. <br />lng described property: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot Seven (7), Tract <br />No. 721, as shown on a MAp recorded in Book ~2, page 4, <br />Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; <br />thence South 88° 28' West along the Northerly line of said <br /> <br /> <br />
