Dorton. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Bruns and csrried, <br />the communication of W. H. Spurgeon, Jr. expressing appreci- <br />ation for the gesture of respect shown for his mother b~~ <br />suspending all business for fifteen minutes during his <br />motherts funeral services, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the communications from Senators Hiram W. Johnson and William <br />Gibbs McAdoo acknowledging receipt of the Resolution adopted <br />by the Council endorsing the Townsend Plan of 01d Age PensiO~ <br />were received and the Clerk instructed to advise the Town- <br />s~nd Clubs of the receipt of communications and to furnish <br />them with copies. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to Confer <br />with Messrs. Jules W. Market and W. K. Hillyard to work out <br />a plan for the erection of a Boy Scouts Clubhouse in the <br />Santiago Creek park area. Chairman Wslker of the Planning <br />CommissiOn, Trustees Rowland and Bruns and the City Engineer <br />were appointed as the Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee BrunS, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the communication of R.
