Sycamore Street and 111 N.' Broadway and for the Moy <br />Ling Herb Company at 208 N. Broadway, were granted under <br />supervision of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of F. H. Williams for permission to purchase <br />the taxicab business operated by C. F. Eddleman, known as thc <br />Courtesy Cab Company,,was referred to the Taxicab Commission <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the application of F. H. Williams to purchase the business <br />of C.F. Eddleman, was granted on recommendation of the <br />Taxicab Commis sion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of Rev. Geo. L. Rose, pastor of the Central <br />Christian Assembly, for the privilege of conducting sacred <br />concerts in Birch Park during the next three weeks for one <br />hour in the afternoons on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, <br />was granted providing no collection is taken. <br /> <br />A cmmmunication of C. H. Purcell, State Highway Engineer, <br />was read stating that the construction of a viaduct on East <br />First Street had been submitted as e project under the Fed- <br />eral Emergency Relief Bill and that federal appropriations <br />are restricted to construction work and the removal of build~ <br />ings, all rights of way end repair of buildings or property <br />damages due to such construction to be borne by the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana.
