In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1011 <br /> <br />Standard Electric Code. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconde~ by Smith and carried, <br /> <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Arm, to be known as <br />the Electric Code of the City of Santa Ana, California, <br />cresting the office of City Electrical Inspector and pre- <br />scribing his duties; providing for and ~he issuance of <br />electrical permits, and for inspections and fixing the fees <br />therefor; regu!sting the installation, arrangement, altera- <br />tion, repair, maintenance and operation of electrical wiring, <br />electric fixtures, end other electric appliances and equip- <br />ment in the City of Santa Ana; providing a penalty for the <br />violation of the ssme, and repealing all Ordinances or parts <br />of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinsnce." <br /> <br />was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1011 <br /> <br />and passed by the followi'ng vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Tway. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns end carried, <br />the request of Mrs. Lena Hewitt,representing the Sons and <br />Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, for p~rmission <br />to place a bronze tablet 12"xlS" at the new City Hall, was <br />referred to Trustee Rowland with the request that applica- <br />tion be filed in writing. <br /> <br />On motion ~ Trustee Penn, seconded by Brun8 and carried, <br />the r~signation of ~n. J. Tway as Secretary of the Planning <br />Commission to take effect at once or when a successor is <br />appointed, was held in abeyance until a fmture date. <br /> <br /> <br />
