Warner. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br /> the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Zoning 0rdin~nce No. 809 to change <br />the Zone upon that portion of the City of Santa Ana bounded <br />on the West by the City Limits, on the North ~y Fifth Street <br />on the East by Townsend Street, on the North by First Street <br />on the East by Bristol'Street, on the South by Monte Vista <br />Avenue, on the West by Sullivan Street and on the South by <br />Myrtle Street, from Single Family Residence Zone to Heavy <br />Industrial Zone." <br /> <br />was finally read, considered,designated Ordinance No..10~3 <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Joseph.P. Smith, Fred C. Rowland, W. H. <br /> Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E. G. Warner. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns ~nd carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to enter into a con~nunit <br />lease with the Continental Oil Company covering 7.59 acres <br />owned by the City of Santa Ana for the purpose of drilling <br />for oil and said 0ompany furnish the City with a quit-claim <br />deed to be placed in escrow under the direction of the City <br />Attorney, contingent upon the Continental 0il Company secur- <br />ing leases on all other property involed in the transactio~ <br />of drilling for oil in the Southwest portion of the City of <br />Santa Ana· <br /> <br />It was decided on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Row- <br />lan~ and carried, to reconsider the action taken by the City <br />Couffcil adopting the following Ordinance: "An Ordinance <br />amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to change the Zone upon <br /> <br />that portion of the City of Santa Ana bounded on the West <br />by the City Limits, on the North ~y Fifth Street, on the <br /> <br />East by Townsend Street, on the North by First Street, on <br /> <br />the East by Bristol Street, on the South by Monte Vista <br />Avenue, on the West by Sullivan Street and on the South by <br /> <br />Myrtle Street, from Single Family Residence Zone to Heavy <br /> <br />Industrial Zone".. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the City Engineer was instructed to post all of the property <br /> <br />South of First Street, West of Bristol Street and North of <br /> as recommended by the Planning Commission <br />bIonte Vista Avenue/in preparation for the rezoning of said <br /> <br />property from Single Family Residence Zone to HeavY Indus- <br />trial Zone and the hearing date set April 18th, 1955. <br /> <br /> <br />
