The com?mAnication was held in abeyance. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the communication of Sam L. Collins, Congressman, relative <br />to the Resolution adopted by the City Council on the Town- <br />send 01d Age Pension Plan, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the coi~uication of A. D. Wilder, State Engineer PWA, <br />authorization to proceed with the work on the constEAction <br />of the new City Hall as soon as actual payment has been <br />received, which is covered by bonds, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the opinion of the City Attorney relative to the Claim of <br />Byron Jackson Company against the City of Santa Ana in the <br />amount of $770.16 resulting from clesning the laSt well <br />drilled by the City before the City was in a position to <br />furnish the well with cold, clear water, which stipulation <br />was contained in the specifications coveri~ the purchase <br />of pump from said Company, was referred to the Water Super- <br />intendent and Water Cormnissioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the resignation of Joel E. 0gle as assistant City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
