No. 2421 <br /> <br />Approving Resubdivision <br /> <br />of City Hall Property. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the matter with reference to endorsing a project for a uni- <br /> fied aEnory building for ~ue National Guard to be located <br /> in Orange Cottuty, was taken under advisement for one week <br /> and the Clerk instructed to acknowledge telegram and communi- <br /> cation of Seth E. Howard, Adjutant General. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Pe~n, seconded by B~uns ~nd carried, <br />the application of the Gilmore 0il Company for a perEit to <br />e~ect a service station at the northwest corner of 1Vth and <br />Main Streets, was referred to the Planning Connmission for <br />r e co mmend ati on. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the appli- <br />cation of the Gilmore 0il Company was granted to erect a <br />service station at the Northwest corner of 1Vth and Main Sts <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Shipkey & Pearson Inc. to erect a service <br />station on the southwest co~ner of BroAdway and Tenth Sts. <br />was referred to a connuittee to meet with the Planning Com- <br />mission and report back in one week. Trustees Penn, Layton <br />and Bruns were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana being the contracting City on the Joint <br />0utfall Sewer, it was moved by T~ustee B~uns, seconded by <br />Layton and carried, that J. A. Stewart be employed as main- <br />tenance superintendent and pumper at a salal~y of $100.00 <br />per month with additional per diem salary for extraordinary <br />services and J. L. McBride be appointed maintenance engineer <br />of Section I of the Joint 0utfall Sewer at a salary of <br />$28.00 per month as recommended by the Executive Committee <br />of the Joint 0utfall Sewer. <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Plummet VJ. Bruns, W. H. <br /> Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Brims and carried, <br />a Resolution was introduced authorizing the Mayor and City <br /> <br />Clerk of the City of Santa Ana to execute on behalf of said <br /> the lVest half of <br />City, maD or resubdivision of/Block 7 of the Town of Santa <br /> <br />Ana, consenting to the making and recording of said Map <br />Tract No. 993 and to the dedication of the property therein <br />set forth as being dedicated as a public alley.
