Santa Arm <br />Nay 20th, <br /> <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />1955. 7:50 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />MeetLug called to order by Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Plummer W. Bruns, <br /> W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowlaud. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Minutes of meeting of May 6th were approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Meeting--Orang e County <br /> <br />League of Municipalit les. <br /> <br />Application--Native <br /> <br />Sons of Golden ~est. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Indian Relics <br /> <br />for Bowers Museum. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Forest Home <br /> <br />Campgrounds. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Mrs. C. Rubio. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Br~ns and carried, <br />the communication of the Orange County League of Municipali- <br />ties relative to meeting to be held at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday. <br />I~i~y 23rd, 1935, at the K.P. Hall in Tustin, was received and <br />all members urged to attend. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of the Native Sons of the Golden West for <br />pern~ission to arrange the dedication services for ~he new <br />City Hall, was received and filed as application Number One <br />and the Clerk was instructed to acknowledge the application <br />and advise the action taken by the Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Chairm~n was au*daorized to appoint a committee to Arrange <br />dedication services for the new City Hall. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Pe~n, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the conmm~nication of Fred P. Jayne, Mgr. PT&V~WV relative to <br />placing Indian relics, etc., in the Bower~s Memorial ¥~useum, <br />uncovered by S.E.R.A. workers under project ~1-F~96 of Earl <br />Historical Research of Orange County, was referred to the <br />Museum Conunittee to investigate and report back to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the oonmranication of ~¥. 0. Marriott, caretaker of the Forest <br />Home Municipal Campgrounds, relative to the operation of the <br />Campgrounds and the feasibility of appropriating funds for <br />the upkeep, was referred to a committee for investigation. <br />Trustees Layton, Smith and City Auditor were appointed as <br />the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Mrs. C. Rubio for permission to sell ice <br />cream, etc., at her residence, lO16 Logan Street, from a <br />counter to be constructed, was referred to the Planning Com- <br />mission. No change of zone beir~ requested, the Planning <br />Commission referred the application of I~s. C. Rubio back to <br />the Council without recommendation and on motion of Trustee <br /> <br /> <br />
