Project <br /> <br />Bower ' s Memorial Museum. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br /> of Eudcation and to be used at su6h times as shall be agree- <br /> able to that Board and the officer of the City having charge <br /> of the rental thereof. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustea Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the motion p~evloumly adopted authorizing the Clerk to adver <br />tlse for bids for a one ton truck chassis and cab for the <br />Fire Department for the mum of $650.00 exclusive of allow- <br />ance on one 1923 Reo Speed Wagon', was rescinded. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for one latest <br />model one ton truck chassis and cab for the Fire Department, <br />not to exceed the sum of $Y50.00 exclusive of allowance on <br />one 1923 Reo Speed wagon chassis, according to specificatio~ <br />on file in the City Auditor's office. Bids to be opened June <br />17th, 1935, at ?:30 P.M. <br /> <br />At this time a recess of five minutes was declared by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Rev. Archer of the Foursquare Gospel ~nurch and Mr. Melvin, <br />organizer and leader of the Boy's and Girl's Band of Sou~hgat~ <br />appeared before the Council relative to organizing such bands <br />in Santa Aha and securing the Council's moral support in con- <br />nection therewith. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seeonded by <br />Smith and carried, the ~halr was authorized to appoint a com- <br />mittee of one to confer with Rev. Archer and Mr. Melvin to <br />ascertain the financial and moral support desired. Trustee <br />Layton was appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to inv~igate <br />the possibility of submitting a project to the S.E.R.A. ~e <br />Complete the work started at the Bower's Memorial Museum of <br />building cabinets and cases for displays subject to the <br />approval ~f the Bower's ~mseum Board. Trustee Penn, Mr. <br />Banks and Mr. T. E.
