Project at <br /> <br />Bower's Memorial Museum <br /> <br />the City Bowl'for s~m~er playground purposes to the rental <br />value of $250.00, the ~owl to be under the supervision of the <br />Board of Education and to be used at such times as shall be <br />agree~ole'to that Boar~ and the officer of the Cit~y having <br />charge of the rental thereof." <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> <br />the Board of Education was granted permission to use the City <br /> <br />Bowl for summer playground purposes under an S.E.R.A. project <br /> <br />expenditures for materials and equipment net to exceed tae <br /> <br />sum of $250.00 and summer playgrounds to be under the super- <br /> <br />vision of the Board of Education.in the Bowl at such times as <br />shall be agreeaole to the officer of the City having charge <br /> <br />of ~aid Bowl. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for the sale- <br /> and garage <br />of a one story frame house/located at 822 W. Sixth Street, <br /> <br />bids to be received up to ~he hour of 5:00 P.M., July 15th, <br /> <br />19~5, and.opened at 7:30 P,M.,~of the same day. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Stuns and carried, <br /> <br />~he following Resolution coveri~ change order relative to <br /> <br />installation of heating conduit and ou~lets and additional <br /> <br />conduit for underground telephone system on the Ci~y Hall <br /> <br />plans and specifications entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution accepting proposal for certain changes in <br />proposed plans and specifications for City Hall, sub- <br />Ject to s~proval of Public Works Administration" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2429 and <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Plummet W. Bruns, W. H. <br /> Penn, Ernest H. Layto~, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> <br />the following Reso!u~ion No. 2480 was adopted: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ama; <br /> That Fred C. Rowland, Mayor of the City of Santa Ana, Oran. <br />County, California, be and he is hereby authorized and <br />empowered to propose, accept and agree to the conditions <br />required by the Emergency Relief Administration, State of <br />California,. (S.E.R.A.), on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, <br />the governmen~tal unit making application for the project <br />described as follows. <br /> The construction of a work-room and machine shop, lattice <br />fence, and the making and finishing of museum display, cases <br />at the Bowers Memorial Museum in the City of Santa Arm. <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct copy of a <br />Resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha, Orange Coun~v; Califomia, at its regular meeting on <br />June 17th, 1935. <br /> Attest my hand and the seal of said City of Santa Ana this <br />17th ds,y of June, 1935. <br /> <br /> E.
