314 <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />January 28th, 1935. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Fred C. Rowland, W. H. Penn, <br /> Plummet W. Stuns, E. G. Warner. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to <br /> <br />Change Name of Cubbon St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to <br /> <br />Open Flower St. <br /> <br /> A petition signed by property owners and residents was pre- <br /> sented to the City Council requesting that the name of <br /> <br />· Cubbon Street between Main and Orange Avenue be changed to <br /> Beverly Place to harmonize with the remainder of said street <br /> running East of Orange Avenue. On motion of Trustee Rowland <br /> seconded by Stuns and carried, the petition to change the <br /> name of Cubbon Street was referred to the City Attorney a~i <br /> Engineer. <br /> . <br /> <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission to act favor- <br /> ably on the petition of property owners and residents for <br /> the opening of Flower Street between Fifth and Sixth Street, <br /> was read. On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the Chair was authorized to a~point a c~nmittee to <br /> ascertain the probable cost of acquiring the necessary pro- <br /> perty for the opening of Flower Street between Fifth and <br /> Sixth, and report back in one week. Trustees Bruns, Penn <br /> and Rowland, City Attorney and Engineer were appointed as <br /> the committee · <br /> <br />In He <br /> <br />Heso. No. 2407 <br /> <br />Repealing Reso. No. 2375. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried <br /> <br />the following Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2407. <br /> <br /> THAT WHEREAS, under date of January 2, 1934, Resolutio~ <br />No. 2378 was adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha, Orange County, State of California, which Reso- <br />lution, among other things, provides that the term of the <br />bonds authorized to be issued by an Election held on Decem- <br />ber 19, 1933, in said City, for the erection and construc- <br />tion of the City Hall, is to be for a period of twenty <br />years, and that said bonds are to be serial coupon bonds <br />maturing in instalments of $3800.00, with interest thereon <br />payable semi-annually; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and required at this time that <br />the term of said bonds and the maturity thereof be changed <br />to meet~the requirements of the Public Works Administration <br />of the United States Government: <br /> NOW, THERFi~ORE, BE IT RESOLVe2) by the City Council of <br />said City of Santa Ana, Califc~nia, that Resolution No. <br />237§ adopted by the said City of Santa Aha on January 2, <br />1934, be and the same is HEREBY REPEALED. <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was <br />duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha, California, at a regular adjourned meeting <br />thereof, held on the 28th day of January, 1935. <br /> AYES: Trustees Fred C.
