No. 2A09 <br /> <br />Au~ho~izin~ Purchase <br /> <br />Hr-of-way Santiago Creek. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />a Resolution was introduced authorizing the Mayor and Clerk <br /> <br />to execute all necessary papers for the acquiring of propert <br />from L. W. Owens for the sum of $800.00 cash, Rnown and <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 7, Tract No. 721, <br />as shown on a map recorded in Book 22, Page 4, Miscellaneous <br />MaRs, Records of Orange County, Call, mia; thence South <br />88v 28' West along the Northerly line of said Lot 7, 242.01 <br />feet to a point of intersection with a curve concave to the <br />Southeamt and having a radius of 280 feet; a radial line <br />passing through said point of intersection bears South ~0© <br />28' East; thence Southwesterly along said curve through a <br />central angle of 19o 48' a distance of 88.~9 feet to a point <br />tangent with a curve concave to the Northwest and having a <br />radius of 200 feet; a radial line passing through said tan- <br />gent point bears North 800 l~' West; thence Southwesterly <br />along said curve ~hrough a central angle of 80° 28' a dis- <br />tance of 178.04 feet to a point tangent with the Northerly <br />line of Owens Drive, said point being also the Southeasterly <br />corner of Lot 8 of said Tract No. 721; thence Southwesterly <br />along the Westerly line of said Lot 7 to the Northeasterly <br />corner of Lot 8 of said Tract No. 721; thence South 8~o 47' <br />East along the Easterly prolongation of the Southerly line <br />of Owens Drive 88.24 feet to a point tangent to a curve con- <br />cave to the Southwest having a radius of l0 feet; thence <br />Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 188° <br />Ol~ ~0" a distance of 24.09 feet to a point tangent; thence <br />South 48o 14! ~0" West 98.$1 feet to the Southwesterly cor- <br />ner of said Lot 7; thence North 89o ~8' 18" East along the <br />Southerly line of said Lot 7, 190.~2 feet to the Southeast <br />corner of said Lot 7; thence North 88o l~ ~0" East along <br />the Southeasterly line of said Lot 7, 244.88 feet to an <br />angle point in the Southeasterly line of said Lot 7; thence <br />North Z8° 20' East along the Southeasterly line of said Lot <br />7, 182.47 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />Said property to be used in connection with an S.E.R.A. <br /> <br />project for the development of Santiago Creek to aid flood <br />control. The resolution was considered, designated Resolu- <br /> <br />tion No. 2408 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Fred C. Rowland, W. H. Penn, <br /> Plummet W. Bruns, E. G. Warner. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On me,ion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />a Resolution was introduced authorizing the Mayor and Clerk <br />to execute all necessary papers for the purchase and acquir- <br />ing of property ~rom J. B. Ramsay for the sum of $128.00, <br /> <br />known and described as follows: <br /> Block B <br /> Lot Fifteen (l§),/Tract No. ~18, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in Book i4, Page 49 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records <br />of Orange County, California; subject to delinquent taxes. <br /> <br />Said property to be used in connection with an S.E.R.A. <br />project for the development of Santiago Creek to aid flood <br />control.
