F. <br />duct a dancing academy at <br /> <br /> north of Fourth Street, <br />the Police Commissioner and Chief with power <br /> <br /> seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br /> Wheeler for a city license to con- <br />the Legion Hall, was granted. <br /> <br />seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> alle <br /> <br />the petition with twenty-s~ven signatures for' improvement of <br />connecting Broadway and Ross between Washington and Halesv~ortt <br />Streets, was referred to the Street Commissioner and City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br />Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County con- <br />senting to the dismantling of the sewage reclamation demon- <br />stration plant at the Joint Outfall Sewer and agreeing to <br />cancel its lease upon the premises used by said plant, was <br />referred to the Water Commissioner s~ud City Engineer for <br />investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Board of Supervisors was accepted <br />and the sewage reclamation demonstration plant at the Joint <br />Outfall Sewer was ordered dismantled and salvaged. <br /> <br />Street Commissioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />t~e application of Mrs. Anna Fehs for permission to conduct <br />a commercial poultry yard at lll7 Kilson Drive, was referred <br />to the Planning Commission and Sanitary Inspector. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of Mrs. Anna Fehs was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for permissio <br />to sell poppies and solicit funds on the streets to maintain <br />a home for children of veterans who have died, was referred <br />~o Trustees Bruns, Layton and Phil Brown to investigate and <br />report back. <br /> <br />A petition signed by twenty-four residents of Daisy Street <br />north of Fifth Street, was presented, requesting the collect- <br />ion of trash on said street. On motion of Trustee Smith, <br />seconded by Penn and carried, the petition of residents on <br />Daisy Street north of Fi£th Street, was referred to the <br /> <br /> <br />
