In Re Opinion of City Attorney. a Resolution entitled: "Resolution protesting establishment of State prison in Orange County" was read~ considered, designated Resolution No. 2471 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees Fred C. Rowland. Copies of ~esolution No. 2471 were ordered sent to Governor Merriam, State Board of Prison Directors and to the Board of Supervisors .of Orange County. . On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the opinion of L. W. Blodget, City Attorney, relative to the City of Santa Ana expending money for publicity and advertisi was received and'filed. . 0M motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the City Council adjourned.
