Main St. to 1319 No. Broadway, <br /> as <br /> to serve/both residence and office, was referred t¢ <br /> <br /> the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the Planr~ing Commission and on <br /> motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carri~ <br /> property was ordered posted for special use and <br /> <br />· public hearing date set for July 6th, 1936. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and <br /> carried, communication and petition, consisting of <br /> eighty-three signatures, urging opening of West 4th <br /> St. along the line of P.E.Ry.tracks from Artesia St. <br /> to intersection of West 5tti. St. was referred to the <br /> City Engineer and Street Commissioner, and a like <br /> committee from the Planning Commission, to work <br /> together and report back to Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. J.L.McBride, City Engineer, presented a recentl <br /> prepared map of the City of Santa Ana, and on <br /> motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and <br /> <br />· carried, the map was approved as the official map <br />of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> On. motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and <br /> carried, budget for second ~ cent gas tax fund, as <br /> submitted by City Engineer, was approved and Mayor <br /> and Clerk were authorized to execute same. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and <br /> carried, Trustee Penn wa~ appointed to confer with <br /> City Attorney Blodget with reference to.adoption of <br /> 1935 Uniform Building Code. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and <br /> carried, the City Attorney· was instructed to <br /> investigate the ordinance regulating powers of the <br /> Forestry Board and Trustee Layton appointed as a <br /> committee of one to act ~vith him. <br /> <br /> The Mayor announced the appointment of A.H.Allen to <br /> succeed hlmself as member of the Fore~try Board for <br /> <br /> the.full term, and on motion of Trustee Layton, sec¢ <br /> by Bruns and Carried, the appointment was concurred <br /> in. <br /> <br />.d, <br /> <br />~ded <br /> <br /> <br />
