Kennedy as members of the Library Board for the full term and on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith an~ tarried, the s.ppointment was concurred in. In Re Resolution City of La Habra 0utfall Sewer Project In Re Ordinance Advertising and Publicity In Re Resolution No. 2~77 Fixing Salaries of City Employees APPROVED: Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carrie~ communication from City of La Habra, together with Resolution requesting immediate action in submitting a project for Federal aid in repairing 0utfall Sewer llne, was received, acknowledged and referred to Sewer and Water Commissioner Mr. Smith. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Appropriating Not to Exceed Five Cents on Each One Hundred Dollars of Assessed Valuation for Each Year Hereafter, To Be Used For Publicity And Advertising" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carri the following Resolution entitled: "A Resolution Fixing The Salaries of Appointive Officers And Members Of The Following Departments: Auditor; Clerk! Treasurer; Inspectors; Police; Fire; Engineering; Street; Sanitary$ Water; Parks; Sewer; Garage; Pound And Museum" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2477 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees: Plummer W. Bruns, Joseph P.Smith, W.H.P~nn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland.
