APPROVED: Ms.vor of the City ~f Santa Aha. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the demands audited by the Finance Committee, numbering from 458 to 674 inclusive. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Section 7 of Ordinance No. 962 entitled 'An Ordinance regulating and licensing the business of carrying passengers for hire in motor vehicles in the City of Santa Ana'" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the City Auditor and Attorney were appointed as a committee to confer with S. H. Finley to ascertain information approximate figures on the cost of the Metropolitan Water District tax rates for the next two or three years and other data that will be applicable to the tax and the City Auditor to break down our tax rate for the information of taxpayers. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the bid of the Orange County Reporter as submitted for City Advertising for the coming year in the amount of .30~ per inch for all advertising, was accepted and the Attorney was instructed to prepare the necessary contract to cover. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, the City Council adjourned. .erE.
