Main Street, was granted subject to the approval of the <br /> Electrical Inspector and to hung under his supervision. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute agreement with <br /> Caroline B. Stevenson covering the construction of an electric <br /> sign at 1501 S. Hain Street, a portion of which sign extends <br /> over and upon the five foot set-back line on S. Main Street. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> the application of Ralph Horman for permit to drive taxicab <br /> for the Courtesy Cab Company, was referred to the Taxicab <br /> Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Ernie Acker for a transfer of permit to <br />dive taxicab for the Broadway Cab, was granted on recommenda- <br />tion of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the monthly reports of the various city officers for the <br />month of September, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br />demands audited by the Finance Committee numbering from 692 <br />to 861 inclusive. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> <br />Dale Griggs, Park Supt., was appointed a special police <br /> <br />officer to serve without pay. <br /> <br /> <br />
