<br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried,
<br />the Resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Orange
<br />County, appropriating $1592.00 from the Motor Vehicle Fuel
<br />Fund for the improvement of Lowell, Halladay and Adams Street
<br />was received and the Clerk instructed to acknowledge the
<br />appropriation with a letter of appreciation.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried,
<br />the petition of citizens requesting that F. W. Lockhart be
<br />reinstated as a patrolman for their property, was taken
<br />under advisement until January 4th, 1937.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried,
<br />the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance regulating the sanitation and conduct of
<br /> camp cars and/or trailers in the City of Santa Ana,
<br /> California"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1035 and
<br />passed by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> Trustees Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn,
<br /> Fred C. Rowland.
<br />
<br /> Trustees None.
<br />
<br /> Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Ernest H. Layton.

<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried,

<br />the following Ordinance entitled:

<br />"An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, regulating the
<br />erection, construction, repair, enlargement, alteration,
<br />removal, demolition and occupancy of all buildings and
<br />structures in said City, and providing for the issuance
<br />of permits and collection of fees therefor, and repealing
<br />Ordinance No. 1010 of said City"

<br />passed by the following vote:

<br />'An Ordinance defining and regulating patrol systems and
<br />patrol services: making it unlawful for persons engaged
<br />in the business of conducting or maintaining any patrol
<br />service or patrol system, or patrolling any district in
<br />the City of Santa Ana to conduct or maintain such business
<br />without a permit therefor from the City of Santa Ana:
<br />prescribing the conditions upon which such permits shall
<br />be issued, revoked and suspended: fixing a fee for l~e
<br />issuance of such permits, providing penalties for its
<br />violation, and repealing conflicting Ordinances"
<br />
<br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for
<br />
<br />second reading.
