RESOLUTION NO. 54-62 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br />ANNEXATION TO CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UN- <br />INHABI'~D TERRITORY DESCRIBED ~2~EIN AND DESIGNAT~ <br />"FRANK BORCHARD ANNEX NO. 1", AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br />TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owners of certain real property hereinbelow described <br /> <br />have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that said <br /> <br />real property is uninhabited, consenting in writing that said real property <br /> <br />may be taxed to pay auy indebtedness or liability of said City contracted <br /> <br />prior to such annexation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has <br /> <br />approved the description of said real property as herein set out for the <br /> <br />purpose of -nnexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved <br /> <br />the annexation of said territory; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City <br /> <br />of Santa Anahereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory <br /> <br />under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 <br /> <br />and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since <br /> <br />it ha~ess than 12 registered voters residing in it on May 17, 1954, the date <br /> <br />when said petition was filed~ that said territory is contiguous to the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: <br /> <br /> That certain portion of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, County <br />of Orange, State of California described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract 560 as shown on a map <br />thereof recorded in Book 19, page 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, Official <br />Records of Orange County, said point of beginning being in a portion <br />of the boundary of the City of Santa Ana and running thence Northerly 833.00 <br />feet along the West line of Tract 696 and the Northerly extension thereof <br />as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 20, pages 45 and 46 of said <br />Official Records; thence Westerly at right angles 107.00 feet; thence <br />Northerly at right angles 27.00 feet; thence Westerly at right angles <br />992.00 feet; thence Northerly at right angles 5.00 feet; thence Westerly <br />at right angles 238.65 feet to an intersection with the East line of <br />Tract 252 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 13, page 33 of <br />said Official Records, said point of intersection being also on the <br />East line of Maple Alley and a portion of the Easterly Boundary of the <br />City of Santa Ana; thence Southerly 864.87 feet along said East line <br />of Tract 252 also the said East line of Maple Alley and said portion <br />of the Easterly Boundary of the City of Santa Ana to an angle point in <br />said boundary of the City of Santa Aha, being in the Westerly prolongation <br />of said North line of Tract 560; thence Easterly along the said Westerly <br />prolongation of the North line of Tract 560 and the said North line of <br />Tract 560, being also a portion of said boundary of the City of Santa <br />Aha to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
