t~_.SOLUTION NO. 54-139 AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION <br />NO. 5114 AS AMENDED ENTITrRD "RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A <br />BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN CLASSES OF EMPLOYMENT <br />IN 'l'~i~ MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF T/JE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND <br />ESTABLISHING BEGULATIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF PHESENT <br />EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE WAGE AND SALARY SCHEDULES PROVIDED" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 26, 1951, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana passed and adopted Resolution No. 5114 establishing a basic compen- <br />sation plan for certain classes of employment in the service of the City of <br />Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now necessary to make an adjustment of one Schedule <br />Number and add a Class Title and Schedule Number to Section 3 of said resolu- <br />tion. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. <br /> <br />5114 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the Schedule Number assigned <br />to the Class Title nominated "Assistant Clerk of the Council" from Schedule <br />No. 24 to Schedule No. 25, and by adding thereto immediately following the <br />Class Title nominated "City Librarian" a new Class Title nominated "Clerk of <br />the Council and by assigning to said new Class Title the Schedule Number of <br />30. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER BESOLVED: That the addition of schedule numbers and <br />the modification of allocation of classes of employment to salary and wage <br />schedules shall be effective from August l, 1954. <br /> <br /> PAS~ED AND ADOP'I~D by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br /> <br />its regular meeting held on the 16th day of August , <br /> <br />1954. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF C~LIWORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />- MAYDR/ <br /> <br /> I~ ERMAKEELER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and <br />read to the said Council at its regular meeting held on the 16th <br />day of August , 1954 and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted <br />by said Council by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES~ COUNCILMEN: <br />NOES~ COUNCII/4EN: <br />ABSENT, COUNCIIREN: <br /> <br />William Jerome~ J.
