B. tten. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the communication of the State Planning Commission with ref- erence to making ~ a six year financial outlay program in accordance with forms as submitted covering proposed work on Section i Joint 0utfall Sewer, Sewer Collection System, Storm Drain in South part ~ City and Ocean Section of the Joint Outfall Sewer, was referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance creating a Traffic Safety Commission and a Traffic Safety Patrol in the City of Santa Ana and pre- scribing rules and regulations therefor" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. Roll Call: Ayes, Noes, Absent, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Ernest H. Layton, Trustees Joseph P. Smith. Trustees None. W. H. Penn, Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Absent, On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, the request of Milton R. Foster for the City of Santa Ana to sponsor the W.P.A. Music Project Band for a series of broad- casts over Station K.V.0.E., was denied. . On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, Superintendent of Parks, Dale Griggs was instructed to pro- ceed with the work on W.P.A. Project for Santiago Creek Park Trom Main Street to Santiago Avenue. Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Trustees Joseph P. Smith. Trustees None. Subject to his compliance with the terms of our Ordinance, Trustee Bruns.moved, seconded by Layton and carried, that a private patrol permit be granted to Gilbert F. Wagner on the condition that he forthwith file with the Chief of Police a map showing the route of any and all patrols established by him, such patrol shall be within the territory mentioned in his application. Subject to his compliance with the terms of our Ordinance, Trustee Bruns.moved, seconded by Layton and carried, that a private patrol permit be granted to D. H. Betten on the con- dition that he forthwith file with the Chief of Police a. map showing the route of any and all patrols established by him, such patrol shall be within the territory mentioned in his application.
