City Council met in regular session. Meetiug called to order by Mayor Rowland. Present: TrusteeS: Council Chambers. Santa Ana City Hall. March 1st, 1937. 7:30 P.M. Plummer W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W.H.Penn, Ernest H. Layton~ Fred C. Rowland. Absent: Trustees: None Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes of February 15th, 1937, was dispensed with and the Minutes approved on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried. In Re 0ommunication Clyde C. Eennedy. In Re Digest of Laws League of Cai.Municipalities. In Re Regional 0onference Cal. Municipal Utilities Assn. In Re Appointment on ~lumbi~E Examining Board. XnR~ OommunXoa~ion Permit of B. E. Dawson. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and · carried, communication from Consulting Engineer Clyde ~C. Kennedy advising that his report covering recon- struction of outfall sewer line will be in shape for discussion the latter part of the week, received and filed. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, communication from Richard Graves, Executive Secretary of League of California Municipalities, advising that each member city will receive one copy of digest of laws which affect cities, pending before the 1937 session of the Legislature received and Cle~ ~ authorized to secure an extra copy for use of City Attorney at quoted price of $2.00. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, co~,m~nication from L. Harold Anderson, Pres. California Municipal Utilities Association, advising of Regional Conference to be held at Hotel Sacrament( Sacramento, 9:00 A.M., Thursday, March 4th, received and filed. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the resignation of Ernest J. Vosskuhler as a member of the Plumber's Examining Board of the City f~ Pitunbers~ '~ was accepted with regrets. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, James H. Russell was appointed to fill vacan created by resignation of Mr. Vosskuhler.. On motion of Trustee LaYton, seconded by Penn and carried, communication from Brown & Wagner, outlining their ambulance service, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Brans, seconded by Smith and carried, c~mGenication from B.E.Dawson relinquishing his permit for Merchants~ Patrol Service was read and permit cancelled. Y
