In Re Reso. No. 2511 Parking Limitations. In Re Ordinance No. 1038 Creating Traffic Safety Commission. In Re DeMolay Day. 'In Re Resolution Commending H.M. Conner. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution concerning Parking Limitations under Ordinance No. 1030" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2511 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Plummer W. B~uns. Trustees None. Noes, Absent, Trustees Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees ~h~motion of Trustee Smith to amend the Ordinance creating a traffic safety commission and a traffic safety patrol in the City of Santa Ana by striking out SectiOn 3 and 5 and other sections appertaining thereto, was lost for lack of a second. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance creating a Traffic Safety Commission and a Traffic Safety Patrol in the City of Santa Ana and prescribing rules and regulations therefor." was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1038 and passed by the follow~ng vote: Ayes, Trustees W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Plummet W. B~ns. Joseph P. Smith Fred C. Rowland. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, March 15th, 1937,was designated as DeMolay Day and the to take over the govermental function of the City of Santa On notion of Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, that the commendation and appreciation of the City of Santa Ama through the City Council be extended to Mr. H. II. Conner for his many years of faithful and efficient service in the of the City and that this Resolution be particularly noted in the Minutes of this meeting.
