Rowlaud. <br /> Noes, Trustees: None. <br /> Absent, Trustees: None. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn,~seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> petition of property owners on the west side of No. <br /> Flower St. for a set-back survey on said street betwee <br /> 8th and Washington Ave. for future widening and <br /> straightening ~f No. Flower St. WaS taken under advise <br /> ment un,ill March 15th. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and <br /> carried, petition signed by property owners on No. Flow r <br /> St. between 1Vth & Santiago Creek Bridge, protesting <br /> against removal of parking strip down the center of <br /> <br /> No. Flower St. between 1Vth & Santiago Creek Bridge <br /> and urging that tall shrubs be replaced with shrubs <br /> which will not exceed 3 ft. it mature growth, was <br /> ordered filed in the Clerk's office. <br /> <br /> A ~peti~ton containing approximately 450 signatures <br /> urging continuation of W.P.A. Rodent Control Project <br /> was received and filed, and, on motion of Trustee <br /> Bruns, seconded by Penn' and carried, the Mayor and <br /> Auditor were authorized to sign W.P.A. forms for the <br /> continuation of this project in the City of Santa Ana. <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith~ seconded by Bruns and <br /> carried, check from the Southern Counties Gas Co., in <br /> <br />· the amount of $ 4,171.03, in paYment of 2% franchise <br /> tax obligation for the year ending December 31st, 193( <br /> was received and Clerk instructed to deposit sa~ne. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the applications of Electrical Contractors fo <br /> permits to hang electrical signs were granted under <br /> supervision of the Electrical Inspector at the follow- <br /> <br />ing locations: <br /> <br />Karl's Shoe Store <br />Southem Pacific Co. <br />White Cafe <br /> <br />207 East Fourth St. <br />504 No. Main St. <br />421 West Fourth St. <br /> <br /> <br />
