On motion of Trustee BEns, seconded by Smith and carried, the monthly reports of City officers for the month of February', ......... ' were referred to the Finance Committe. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton aud Nos. 1750 to 1950 incl carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants,/as audited by the Finance Committee, in payment of ssme. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, a committee consisting of Trustees Lay~on and Bruns were appointed to consider Mrs. Scott's propostti. to purchase portion of property owned by the City of Santa Ana on the North end of Bristol St. when written request is presented aud to report back March 15th. Report was made by Trustee Layton as Chairman of Committee previously appointed in connection with petiti of property owners for relief from storm waters along Santa Ana Boulevard, to the effect that the County will make necessary survey to determine solution to this drainage problem and that the City will cooperate with the County in taking care of storm water at this loca~ On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carrt, report was accepted and committee discharged. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 962 entitled "An Ordinance regulating and licensing the business of carrying passengers for hire in motor vehicles in the City of Santa Aha" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 12 entitled "An Ordinance for the prevention and punishment of certain offenses against the peace, good order and health of the Town of Santa Aha", and providing additional pro- visions concerning drunkenness" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution establishing no parkin~ zones under Section 9, oT Ordinance No. 1030" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. passed by the following vote: Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Fred C. Rowland. Ayes, Trustees: 2512 and Smith, Layton,
