Flower Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurred <br /> with and a committee composed of Trustees Penn, Layton and <br /> the City Engineer were appointed to meet with the Planning <br /> Commission for discussion of a definite plan for a set-back <br /> survey on N. Flower Street between Eighth and Washington. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the request of Milton R. Foster for the City of Santa Ana to <br />sponsor the W.P.A. M~sic Project Band and Concert for a ser- <br />ies of broadcasts over Station K.V.O.E., was referred to the <br />Finance Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been filed, on motion of <br />Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the petition of <br />property owners for the rezoning of N. Broadway between ~th <br />19th Streets to First Clas~ Apartment House Zone, was referre <br />back to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the petition of <br />property owners was granted for the rezoning of No. Broadway <br />between 10th and 19th Street to First Class Apartment House <br />Zone and the City Attorney was instructed to draft and 0rdi- <br /> <br />nance changing the zone as <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, <br /> <br />granted. <br /> <br />seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />the petition of property of property owners for the rezoning <br />of N. Broadway between 1Rth and 20th Streets to First Class <br />Apartment House Zone, was referred to the Planning ComMission <br />On recommendation of the ~lanning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property <br />on North Broadway between 19th and 20th Streets was ordered <br />posted for First Class Apartment House Zone and the hearing <br />date set February 1st, 1~37, in accordance with the petition <br />of property owners. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> Pro Tem <br />the Mayor/and Clerk were instructed to enter into an agree- <br /> <br />ment with Thomas Johnson covering the rental of the dump <br />ground for the period, February 1st, 1937 to April 1st, 1939, <br />inclusive at $20.00 per month. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />Earnest Ballow was appointed as a special police officer of <br />the City of Santa Ana as assistant to the Poundmaster. <br /> <br /> <br />
