Trustees Penn and Bruns were <br />appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurred <br />in and the application of S. A. Marsden to remodel residence <br />into a duplex, located at the northwest corner of 18th and <br />Main Street, described as a lot 63' x 153.6' in Section 1, <br />T. 5 S., R. l0 W. bounded on the East by Main Street, on the <br />~outh by 18th Street and on the West by alley, was referred <br />to the Building Department for final action. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurred <br /> in and the application of George R. Lee for a permit to con- <br /> struct a service station on First Street between Shelton and <br /> Baker Streets, legal description as follows: Beginning at <br /> the N.E. corner of Lot l, Block A, of Heil Tract; thence Wes1 <br /> 57 feet; thence South 145 feet; thence East 54.85 feet; thenc <br /> North 145 feet to the point of beginning, was granted for <br /> special use subject to a ten foot set-back from the existing <br /> South line of First Street. <br /> <br /> Concurring with the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br /> on motion of T~ustee Layton, seconded by B~uns and carried, <br /> the application of Merle M. Hall and Others to construct a <br /> duplex on Wakeham Avenue between Maple and Oak Street, des- <br /> cribed as Lots 3 and 4, all except the East 17 feet of Lot 4, <br /> Block D, Wa~eham Pla~e, was granted for special use. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurred <br /> in and the application of H. C. Head to erect a duplex on <br /> Spurgeon Street between l§th and 16th Streets, being Lot 10 <br /> Block B, Warner's Subdivision of Blocks C & F of Dresser <br /> Tract, was granted for special use. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the property described as Lot 2, Block A, Tract No. 584, <br /> which is the northeast corner of Orange and Wakeham Streets, <br /> was ordered ~oste~ for special use and the Joint hearing <br /> date set March 21st, 1938, in compliance with the applicatiol <br /> of Ilene B. Lunt to construct a duplex. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution protesting any establishment~ of <br /> treatment plants along the Santa Ana River" <br /> <br /> was read, <br /> <br /> sewer <br /> <br />considered, designated Resolution No. 2556 and <br /> <br /> <br />
