<br />the request of Earl Lentz for leave of absence from his dutie
<br />as license inspector, for a period of 42 days, beginning

<br />On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Smith and carried,
<br />the communication of F, J. Hershimer requesting the sum of
<br />$B7.58 for flood damages covering labor and materials, was
<br />referred to the City Attorney.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />the correspondence of Edgar Edwards with reference to con-
<br />struction of a food market at the corner of Fourth and Flower
<br />Streets and protesting the construction of a small store-room
<br />in front of a house at 916 W. Fourth Street, was referred to
<br />the Building Department for disposition.

<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />
<br />a Resolution accepting Quit-claim Deeds to certain property
<br />in Tracts 2A8, ~5~, 2~, 252, 269, ~q, 6~5,~Artesia Street,
<br />687, 2~, and 6A~,Was read, considered, designated Resolution
<br />No. 2627 and passed by the following vote:
