<br /> The Clerk read the bid of R. R. Lutes in amount of $224~.37,
<br /> the same was received and the matter was then thrown open to
<br /> oral bids by any person present. A bid of $2500.00 was made
<br /> by Arth~r J. Smith and rai~ed by R. R. Lutes to $2550.00 and
<br /> the bidding continued until the bid of $3910.00 was made by
<br /> R. R. Lutes and no further or higher bids were received.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried,
<br /> the bid of R. R. Lutes in amount of $3910.00 was accepted
<br /> and the additional sum of $166.56 was deposited, making the
<br /> total deposit by him of !O%~ of his bid.
<br />
<br />A Resolution was introduced~ for the Sale of Tax Deeded Lots
<br />and was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2636 and
<br />'passed by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummer W. Bruns, ~oseph P. Smith, W.H. Penn
<br /> Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland.
<br />
<br /> Noes, Trustees None.
<br />
<br /> Absent, Trustees None.
<br />
<br /> Pursuant to Resolution of Intention, the Chair asked if any
<br /> bids had been received for the sale of Lot Sixteen. (16),
<br /> Block Eight (8) in Tract No. 517.
<br />
<br /> The Clerk read the only bid received of Mel Trickey in the
<br /> sum of $90.00 and no person being present desirous of raising
<br /> this bid, upon motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn
<br /> and carried, the Resolution for Sale of Tax Deeded Lots was
<br /> ihtroduced accepting said offer and authorizing the Mayor and
<br /> Clerk to execute, deed to said property, was passed and adopte
<br /> by the following vote:

<br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W.H.Penn
<br /> Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland.

<br /> The Clerk read the only offer,to purchase said real property,
<br /> of Leal Garbett in the sum of $398.00, and no person being
<br /> present desirous of raising this bid, upon motion of Trustee
<br /> Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the Resolution No.
<br /> accepting said offer and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to
<br /> execute deed to said property, was passed and adopted by the
<br />
<br />following vote:
