Flower St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Most, seconded by Kelsey and carried, <br /> <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"A Resolution ordering the Street Superintendent to abate <br />the public nuisance heretofore declare by the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha, to-wit: Weeds which bear seeds <br />of a wlngy or downy nature and attain such a large growth <br />as to become a fire menace when dry and which are noxious <br />and dangerous, growing upon certain street~, sidewalks and <br />private property in the. City of Santa Ana, by having the <br />wee~s referred to removed.# <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2653 and <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> Trustees <br /> Ayes,/Plummer W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, E. D. Most, <br /> D. W. Xelsey, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> <br />the claim of $97.38 of F. J. Hershiser for alleged damages <br /> <br />flood waters at Second and Broadway, was denied on <br /> <br />tion of the City Attorney. <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br /> <br />seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> <br />the application of Mitchell Slayman for a license to conduct <br />a bowling alley at 519 N. Sycamore Street, was denied on <br />recommendation of the Public Safety Committee and Dhief of <br />Police. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Most and carried, <br />the following Resolution entittSd: <br /> <br /> #Resolution authorizing agreement concerning removal of <br /> water diversion box of Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company' <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2654 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plnmmer W.
