<br />Herbert Hill as a member of the Planning Commission for the
<br />unexpired term of Harry S. Pickard, June 30th, 1941.

<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />the recommendations made by the Mayor for reappointments and
<br />appointments On the E0restryBoard, Library Board and Planning
<br />Commission were confirmed.
<br />
<br />On moZion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br />the app!icstion of the Signal 0il Company for permission to
<br />lengthen two existing drive~ays six feet at the service sta-
<br />tion located at the southwest corner of Sixth and Sycsmore
<br />Streets, was denied.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br />the recommendation of the Department of Public Safety was
<br />approved and the request of L. L. Beeman for a stop sign to
<br />be placed at the intersection of Eighth and English Streets,
<br />was denied.

<br />No w~itten or oral protests having been filed, on motion of
<br />Trustee Yost, seconded by Bruns aod carried, the following
<br />Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution overruling protests or objections to report
<br /> of Street Superintendent, approving report, and ordering
<br /> a copy thereof filed with the Tax Collector."
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2666 and
<br />passed by the following vote:

<br />their successors and assigns, the right to construct,
<br />reconstruct, maintain and operate their railroad tracks
<br />upon and across First Street, Santa Fe Avenue, Chestnut
<br />Street end McFadden Street in the City of Santa Ana"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1079 and
<br />
<br />passed by the following vote:
