Hill, Joseph P. <br /> E. D. Most, D. W. Kelsey. <br /> <br />Agsent: Trustees Plummet W. Bruns. <br /> <br />Smith, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hill, seconded by Kelsey and <br />carried, Trustee Smith was appointed Mayor Pro Tem <br />in the absence of Mayor Bruns. <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and <br />each member of the City Council having received a <br />copy of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes <br />of,August 18th, 1941, was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Hill and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />Richfield 0il Corp. <br /> <br />In R~ <br /> <br />Applica~ioas <br /> <br />Taxicab Drivers. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Most, seconded by Kelsey and carried, <br /> the application of Powell Neon Sign Company to hang an elec- <br /> tric sign for the Richfield 0il Company at 102 S. Broadway, <br /> was granted and ordered hung under the supervision of the <br /> Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Eelsey, seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign an agreement with <br /> the Richfield 0il Corporation covering the constructio~ of a <br /> llgh$ poet'and poster board~ which extend over and upen the <br /> s~t-back line established on West First Street. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Most, seconded by Kelsey and carried, <br />the applications of Paul B. Christian and Allen Brewer to <br />~drive taxicabs for the Broadway Cab Company, were granted on <br />recommendation of the Taxicab Commission and with the provi- <br />sion that Allen Brewer is restricted to daylight driving on <br />account of'his age and the Broadway Cab Company to be so <br />notified. <br /> <br /> <br />
