<br />Mandy and carried, the request was granted and appoint-
<br />ment approved.

<br />Communication from H.M.Neighbour, City Engineer, stating
<br />that the Southern Counties Gas Co. has applied for a
<br />permit to build a vault in the parkway on Walnut St. 40
<br />feet wesl~ of Ross St., as it exists south of Walnut St.,
<br />was received and on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded
<br />by Yost and carried, permit was granted and vault to be
<br />constructed under the supervision of the City Engineer
<br />and subject to the approval of the Forestry Board.

<br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />the report of H.O.Rasmussen, Chief Building Inspector,
<br />on Pacific Coast Buildirg Officials Conference, Executive
<br />Board Meeting, held January 23rd, 1943, in San Francisco,
<br />was accepted and referred to the City Attorney and
<br />

<br />Mr. Rasmussen/commended upon his thorough report.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Bruns and
<br />carried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants
<br />according to demands as audited by the Finance Committee,
<br />numbering 1471 to 1648 inclusive.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Kelsey and
<br />carried, the monthly reports of City Officials for the
<br />month of January, 1943, were rec'etved and referred to
<br />the Council as a Committee of the whole.
<br />
<br />Pursuant to Resolution of Intention, the Clerk read the
<br />offer of Jose Angel Echevarria, in the amount of $128.00,
<br />to purchase Lots 25, 26 and 27 in Emmett's Addition No.
<br />3, in the City of Santa Ana, Block "Q".
<br />
<br />No person being present desirous of raising the bid, on
<br />motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Yost and carried,
<br />The Resolution For Sale of Real Property, was read, con-
<br />sidered and designated Resolution No. 3182 and passed by
<br />
<br />the following vote:
