Ltd. and check in the amount of $3,565.31 <br />covering gross revenue for year ended December 51st,1942, <br />under terms of franchise granted by Ordinance No. 1069, <br />were received and checks ordered deposited and referred <br /> <br />to Auditor for checking. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, <br /> <br />seconded by ¥ost and carried, <br /> <br />the monthly reports of City Officials for the month of <br />February, 1945, were received and referred to the Council <br />as a committee of the whole. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Kelsey and carried, <br />the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants according to <br />demands as audited by the Finance Committee, numbering <br />1671 to 1829 inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Kelsey and <br />carried, the request of the Sunset Advertising System to <br />place benches at five locations in Santa Ana, was <br />denied and Mr. Grant to be notified of the Council's <br />policy denying all applications to place benches on <br />sidewalks. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />Communication from L.W.Blodget, City Attorney, stating <br />that the Santa Fe Railroad is desirous of constructing a <br />culvert under its tracks on the west side of Lyon St. to <br />supplement the culvert on the east side of Lyon St. to <br />relieve surface water problems north from McFadden on <br />Lyon St., was received and filed and copy ordered sent <br /> <br />to the Street Superintendent, on motion of Trustee <br />seconded by Manday and carried. <br /> <br />The offer of Manuel Tafolla was read to purchase the <br />right, title and interest of the City of Santa Ana in and <br />to Lot 9, Block "I", South Santa Aha, in the amount of <br /> <br />$20.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />the Resolution of Intention to Sell Real Property, as of <br />March 15th, 1945, was re~d, considered, designated <br /> <br />Resolution No. 3189 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees E.D.Yost, Plummer W.
