Boyd, Chief of <br />Police, advising of appointment of Joe M. Reeves, as <br />patrolman, effective February 25th, 1944, was received <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />the reports of Harold Rasmussen, Chief Building Inspector <br />and Delbert L. Larsh, Judge, for the month of February, <br />19AA, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants <br />according to demands as audited by the Finance Co~ittee, <br />numbering 1540 to 1722 inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, statement from the Southern California Edison <br /> <br />Co. Ltd. and franchise check in the amount of $3,755.64 <br />covering gross revenue for year ended December 31st,1943, <br />under the terms of Franchise granted by Ordinance No. 1069 <br />was received and check ordered deposited and statement <br />referred to Auditor for checking. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, statement from the Southern Counties Gas Co. <br />and franchise check in the amount of $§,$81.71, covering <br />payment for 2 percent of the gross receipta for the year <br />ended December 31st, 1943, under the terms of Franchise <br />granted by Ordinance No. 1061 was received and check <br />ordered deposited and statement referred to Auditor for <br />checking. <br /> <br />0n motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />establishing loading zone on the east side of Spurgeon <br />St. between 2nd and 3rd Sts. located as follows: The <br />north 18 ft. of the south 103 ft., was introduced, read, <br />considered, designated Resolution No. 3329 and passed by <br /> <br />the following vote: <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G.
