No. <br /> <br />Establish loading zone <br /> <br />Bush St. btn ~rd & 4th <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance Regulating Sale <br /> <br />or Disposal of Electrical <br />Materials, etc. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Proposed abandonment <br /> <br />Civilian Defense <br /> <br />Coordinator <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />City Attorney's <br /> <br />Correspondence <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution COncerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />establishing loading zone on the west side of Bush St. <br />between 3rd and 4th Sts., located as follows: The <br />northerly 24 feet of the southerly 67 feet., was intro- <br />duced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3330 <br />and passed by ~he following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, <br /> W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City Council of the <br /> City of Santa Ana Regulating the Sale or <br /> Disposal of Electrical Materials, Devices <br /> and Appliances" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file <br />for second reading. <br /> <br />The Mayor suggested that the position of Civilian <br />Defense Coordinator be abandoned due to the fact that no <br />emergency exists at the present time and that the office <br />is primarily engaged in the activities of the War Counci <br />such as promoting sale of War Bonds, salvaging war <br />materials, etc. but that Secretary be retained to take <br />care of correspondence, files, etc. necessary to that <br />office. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />the Mayor was appointed, as a committee of one, to <br />ascertain whether the City of Santa Ana is in Civilian <br />Defense Class No. 1 or 2, with power to act, on the <br />abandonment of the position of Coordinator. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the City Attorney was instructed to furnish <br />the City Clerk with copies of any and all correspondence <br />pertaining to City business; such copies to be kept on <br />file in the Clerk's office and to be available for <br />inspection at all times. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the City Council adJourned.~ ~~ <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
