Ramirez, dba Temescal Cafe, 905 E. 4th St., was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />A communication was read from Home Protection Service <br />submitting a price of $2,?48.$2 covering water proofing <br />of the City Hall. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the Purchasing Agent was instructed to prepare <br />plans and specifications for the calling of bids for <br />the water proofing of the City Hall. <br /> <br />Communication from United States Government, Office of <br />Division Engineer, requesting that action be taken on <br />approval of supplementary agreements to dispense with <br />Notices of Renewals on Leases W-509-eng-1829 and W-§Og- <br />eng-l?09 between United States Government and the City <br />of Santa An! was read, and on motion of Trustee Dixon, <br />seconded by Deckert and carried, the Clerk was author- <br />ized to advise Office of Division Engineer that Council <br />does not wish to execute supplemental agreements on <br />these leases up to June 50, 1966, to Dispense with <br />Notices of Renewals. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, communication from Diehl & Co. stating that <br />examination of books and accounts of the City of Santa <br />Ana, for the quarter ending Dec. 51, 1945, has been <br />completed, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br /> <br />the request of Santa Aha Unit 151 of the ~merican Legion <br />Auxiliary for permission to sell Memorial Poppies May <br /> <br />26th and 27th, 1944, was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
