<br /> carried, the notifications of the State Board of Equal-
<br /> ization of alcoholic beverage applications made by Paul
<br /> V. McCoy, Leonard E. Gorzeman, dba McCoy Drug Co. #4;
<br /> Edwin B. Thompson, dba Model Market, 408 So. Main St,
<br /> and Solomon Kruger and Guastav W. Kramm, dba Charcoal
<br /> Broiler, $22 No. Main St., were received and filed.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and
<br /> carried, the application of Clifford S. Wright to drive
<br /> a taxicab, was received, filed and permit granted.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br /> the request of Wm. L. Duerr, Pastor, Trinity Lutheran
<br /> Church to place small directional church signs on lamp
<br /> posts at 6th and No. Main Sts., Lacy and 1st Sts. and
<br /> Lacy and 4th Sts., was referred to the City Engineer to
<br /> report back at the next meeting.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and
<br /> carried, the request of Ernest Bias, Pastor of the Church
<br /> of the God of All Nations, for permission to preach the
<br /> gospel on Sunday mornings in Birch Park, was rejected.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and
<br /> carried, the request of Glenn E. Eustts for permission to
<br /> keep 1200 to 2000 chickens on Lots 1,21,22,23,24 and 28,
<br /> Tract No. 953, was denied for the reason that such
<br /> permission would be in violation of the Zoning Ordinance.
<br />
<br />The application of Henry Larrtva to conduct a pool hall
<br />at 1810 W. 4th St., was read and on motion of Trustee
<br />Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, permit was
<br />granted on recommendation of the Chief of Police.

<br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the Minutes of the Executive Board of the Outfall Sewer,
<br />held January 6th, 1944, was received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and
<br />carried, the application of C.L.Williamson to conduct the
<br />business of dealing in motor vehicles at 306 West 8th St.
